The big re-run: Top ten cartoons of the week

Get ready for a long campaign, as both Joe Biden and Donald Trump have officially secured their respective party's presidential nomination.
Easily our most popular cartoon this week came from Chris Weyant, who deployed two aliens to mock America's political re-run this year, one most Americans don't want yet have to endure. The campaign could get even worse, if Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers takes Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. up on his offer to become his vice presidential candidate. I'm sure we'll see plenty cartoons about that over the next few days.
Weyant was extremely popular with editors, as three of his cartoons were among our 10 most reprinted this week. He also mocked special counsel Robert Hur's testimony this week about his investigation into Biden's storage of classified documents and poked fun at criticism of the president's age in a cartoon about the State of the Union, which only happened last week but already seems like the distant past.
