Be my Valentine: Top ten cartoons of the week

Editors love holiday cartoons, so it’s no surprise a number of clever Valentine’s Day cartoons topped our most-reprinted list this week.

Dave Whamond went with the candy heart approach, filling them with phrases that sum up the current environment in Washington. Bob Englehart went with the gift of a dozen eggs in his popular cartoon, a pricey extravagance these days anyone would take over a box of chocolates.
