Everything is bad: Top ten cartoons of the week

High gas prices! Long lines at the airport! A middle class squeeze! Pollen!

Americans are up against it, judging by a roundup of our top cartoons of the week. From the war in Iran to stress at the grocery store, cartoonists covered a host of topics.

Our most-reprinted cartoon was a riff by Dave Granlund about the lack of TSA agents at airports due to the partial government shutdown, which doesn’t appear to be ending anytime soon.

A number of cartoonists honed in on the high prices at the pump due to Trump’s attack on Iran, with Rick McKee calling back to the Biden “I did that!” stickers that appeared on gas pumps when prices rose during COVID.

Wild times, indeed.
