Big, beautiful bill: Top ten cartoons of the week

The Republicans in the House passed their “big, beautiful” budget this week, which has led to a lot of uncertainty among business owners and just about everyone else who doesn’t own a MAGA hat. Will it explode the deficit? Will it lead to a recession? Will the stock market crash?

Our most popular cartoon of the week came from the pen of Ed Wexler, who isn’t only one confused by the bill’s focus on spending cuts and borrowed money to help the wealthiest Americans the most.

R.J. Matson’s cartoon on the bill (and more specifically, Moody’s downgrade) got a chuckle from me. As did Chris Weyant’s cartoon about RFK Jr. inability to discern fantasy from reality.
